Ice Cream Sandwiches- Week 1

HEY :D
so i've started because i was bored today
just a boring saturday alone (parents were out) with my cat :P
So I had a sudden craving for Ice cream sandwiches which I made ^_^
well, i made cookies + ice cream and combined them into one ice cream sandwich...
which i ate :P



so the only problem I had was that the cookie recipe was too dry. I followed it and when i got to the end it was very dry and wouldn't really stick together. I would recommend adding about a 1/4 cup of milk to your mixture (maybe even 1/3. not to sure... kinda just poured). Once you add the milk, it's really liquidy, but don't worry. When it comes out its SO GOOD :D

I also had the issue of getting batter everywhere... seriously... the batter just suddenly became really weird and began climbing up the beaters and flying everywhere XD that's more my fault really. But after I cleaned up and got everything going, it was a smooth baking session.

The ice cream was a little watery, but then again i used milk instead of cream. I'm sure if I used cream, it'd taste better. It was also a simple recipe so I had no problems really.



All in all I enjoyed this recipe and would do it again :D

Welcome to my blog :) Unfortunately there wont be much on here until Summer starts, but for now, here I am. This is my little introduction so you know a bit more about me. First off, I don't normally cook, bake or anything of that sort. I usually sit around, bored. But I really do like to bake... I just make a horrible mess so now my mom doesn't want me baking or doing anything like that... A N Y W A Y S. This summer, I decided to give myself a challenge. No, it's not that hard of a challenge, but it's a challenge to try to get my mom to agree to let me bake at least once a week. If I can do more, I will. I don't have a set cookbook so what ever people ask me to make, I probably will. Some days I'll just make one thing, but I am planning on making some meals during this time. I will also have my friends helping me out along the way and participating in this blog. I am planning on both filming this and sometimes broadcasting live on Blogtv when I do this. I hope you're looking forward to this and I'll put up the link to the youtube channel when I start.
